Measuring at cryogenic temperatures
Using The CryoLab, it is possible to perform measurements at a photovoltaic sensor from 373 Kelvin down to cryogenic temperatures.
Characterising a solar cell
In this example, the operation of photovoltaic solar cells at low temperatures is examined. The efficiency at which the solar cell converts light into electrical power was measured as a function of temperature. Using CryoVision and the included CryoLab SubVI for Labview, a characterisation curve can be easily realised.
